Back to the Beach

We took another long weekend at the beach and just got back a few days ago.  This trip went much better than the one last month when all that I wanted to do was to bang my head against a wall.  No migraines, the weather was perfect, and the best part, the kids played with each other and I could just sit back and watch.  Fred even took watching duty for a few minutes and I was able to close my eyes, lie back and worship the sun.

Overall, it was very relaxing and now I'm hoping to do it again.  I would like to go back after school starts and the crowds are gone.  I've only been down the shore during Summer months so I have no idea what it will be like without tons of people around me.  Hopefully it doesn't feel like a ghost town.  That would be sad.

Anyway, I took a lot of photos of course but instead of just posting and tell you the story behind them, I made a little video.  I just threw the pictures in there so there is no real order other than me trying to group the kids.  You know what, I'm tired of writing,  Just enjoy.

By the way, I started another Blog just for nice photos.  Let me know what you think.
Ron, thanks for the emails giving me the boost to start it.
Your Friend, m.

I've been off galavanting and haven't checked in - missed you! We're heading to the beach on Sunday. And then we'll go back after school starts and we will have the beach to ourselves and it will be lovely.

I'm happy to hear you had a better go of things this time. The pictures seem to capture the kids having a great time. I'm also glad you were migraine free. My wife can get wicked ones and be out of it for a day or more. Thank for sharing your beautiful images and all the best to you and your family.

Hello
Isn't the joy of sand wonderful? and I seriously need to find out how you get your daughter's hair to look like that--as in step by step instructions! I think maybe, just maybe my middle daughter's hair could look like that if I new how to do it. For now it's braids and twists....

Your kids are so awesome, but I think I already told you that and it's not like you didn't know that already.

Of course it is a ghost town in the winter :) That isn't sad though...that is just the way it is :) And the great thing is you know that summer will come again and it will all be back to normal.

Love the pictures!
