You know, once or twice!
But at lunch on Wednesday, after I got back from the post office, I decided to take a walk around the lake which is near my office and photograph it for you all. The last time I did this was on National Walk at Lunch Day in 2010 with my co-workers. I usually just grab my coffee, kick my feet up, and fall into a short nap as the gentle voice of Rush calms me. You understand, right?
As I told you on Monday, I had no idea what I would write for Thursday. Compared to last month, it's been quite slow. Yes, we've been to the beach again but really, one or two posts of my kids playing in the sea is quite enough. In fact, John and Claire are at the beach again this week. I begged my Mom not to buy any more Summer clothes. She said, "Oh, I'll just pick up some school clothes for them." Which is freaking me out considering that our taste in mostly everything is completely different. The worst part is that since they will all be in public school this year, I can see all of us arguing over what they'll wear everyday. School hasn't even started and I miss the uniforms already.
As of last week, Blogger has been giving me the fits. Usually, when I hit "Publish Post", it shows up on Google Reader immediately and those that follow are notified. Recently, it has been taking several hours. And the worst part is that it doesn't show up as new. Therefore, readership(is that a word?) has dropped like 60%. I'm a little frustrated. I've been to various helplines and I reached out to one Blogger who wrote back with links that may help. It's just mind-boggling. Thanks Sarah! If there are any computer geeks out there who can further assist me with this, I would love you forever. Which is easy for me because I love Geeks in the first place. Anyway, here's a hint, it may all stem from me switching to a Dot-com. Do readers have to re-follow the new link?
Alright, enough of my yakking already. I'm starting to sound like a girl. Next thing you know, I'll be writing poetry. Please, come take a walk with me.
And back again!
Now there, wasn't that nice?
This post will hit at 10:00a.m. Eastern time. How soon after that did you see it? Seeing it on Facebook doesn't count.
Your Friend, m.
p.s. My own in-home Geek, Fred, installed some sort of Feed Icon at the top if you would like to re-Follow me. I'm only guessing. I really have no idea what I'm talking about. m.
