I went Straight!

When I voted this morning.

Believe me, this is the first time that I have even voted a Straight Democratic ticket in my whole life.  It felt a little odd but I did it anyway.  But don't worry, I'll go to confession on Sunday and get that sin removed.  The best part about being a Catholic.  wink!

So here's the deal, I voted for Obama as promised.  I voted for Casey because his office has been very helpful to Fred and me over the years when it comes to Immigration.  I owe him.  I voted for Dietz because he's Out and Proud and it's about time that we had someone like that in office.  I voted for Teplitz because he's my neighbor and I just love his Family.  Our Seven year old boys are in the same grade in school.  I made him pose with me this morning outside of the polling place.  Politicians love this stuff!
I told him that I was going to pose with McNally, who was there too, just to be safe.  He laughed.  I didn't pose with him by the way.  Although McNally and I did talk and he told me that it was his birthday today and that he'll have cake regardless of how the day ends.  I'm wondering if he wanted my vote as his birthday present.  Hmmm?

Now, forgive me.  Here's where I'm bad.  I don't know the other Democrats but I don't know anything about the Republicans either.  Therefore, I voted a Straight Ticket.

So there you go.  I wanted to put this out there before the results come in tonight.  So, if I backed the wrong horse, you'll know!

Your Friend, m.
